If you click the graphic, but do not click a specific port, the main menu appears, as

shows. This menu contains the same option as the navigation tabs at the top of the page.
Help Page Access
Every page contains a link to the online help
, which contains information to assist in
configuring and managing the switch. The online help pages are context sensitive. For example, if
the IP Addressing page is open, the help topic for that page displays if you click Help.

shows the location of the Help link on the Web interface.
User-Defined Fields
User-defined fields can contain 1-159 characters, unless otherwise noted on the configuration Web
page. All characters may be used except for the following (unless specifically noted in for that
feature):
Using SNMP
For GS716T/GS724T software that includes the SNMP module, you can configure SNMP groups
and users that can manage traps that the SNMP agent generates.
