1. Installing Internal Optional Devices

Chapter 2 Preparations

The diagram below shows the connection to back plane and controller in case you configure an 8x2.5 inch

drive and an optional 2x 2.5 inch drive.

Connect from the standard back plane to port 1 and 2 of controller and from the optional back plane to port

3 of controller.

Note

In order to prevent damage of the system due to improper cooling or elevated

temperature, please do not activate the server or enclosure without implementing

any of component or blank on all of drive bays and device bays.
