Recommended manufacturer part numbers for the standard ribbon cable (50-conductor, 28
AWG, stranded) that can be used with these connectors are as follows:

You can plug a polarizing key into these edge connectors to prevent inadvertent upside-down
connection to the I/O module rack. The location of this key varies from rack to rack. Consult
the specification for the rack you intend to use for the location of any polarizing key. The
recommended manufacturer part numbers for this polarizing key are as follows:

Unpacking
Your AT-MIO-64F-5 board is shipped in an antistatic package to prevent electrostatic damage to
the board. Several components on the board can be damaged by electrostatic discharge. To
avoid such damage in handling the board, take the following precautions:

Touch the antistatic package to a metal part of your PC chassis before removing the board
from the package.
¥
Remove the board from the package and inspect the board for loose components or any other
sign of damage. Notify National Instruments if the board appears damaged in any way.
Do
not
install a damaged board into your computer.
