Setting operator interval for OLTC maintenance
You can define the maintenance interval of your choice for the on-load tap-
changer. You can define the maintenance interval as dependent on time
and/or number of tap-change operations. If the limit is reached (100 %), the
device triggers an event message (red).

Interval type
You can use this parameter to define the interval type for OLTC mainte-
nance or to deactivate maintenance. You can select the following options:
▪
Deactivated: The maintenance interval is deactivated.
▪
Time: The maintenance interval is dependent on time.
▪
Counter: The maintenance interval is dependent on number of tap-
change operations.
▪
Time and counter: The maintenance interval is dependent on time and
number of tap-change operations. The limit reached first triggers the
event.
Number of tap-change operations
You can use this parameter to define the reading of the tap-change opera-
tion counter at which the device is to issue an event message.
Duration and date of next maintenance
You can use the parameter for the date of the next maintenance to define
the target date for the next maintenance. The duration parameter sets how
long this interval is to be. The device uses this to calculate the current main-
tenance progress.
