Table 11 describes the combined CHARGE and COMM LED Indications
Mounting the Cradle
The cradle should be mounted on flat surface such as a desktop or a cabinet shelf.
Read the following safety guidelines before mounting the cradle:
•
Do not expose the cradle or power supply unit to water, rain, or snow
•
Before using battery or cradle, read all the instructions for and cautionary markings on the battery,
the cradle, power supply unit, and the HC700-G
•
To reduce the risk of damage to the cord or plug, pull by the plug rather than the cord when you
disconnect the cradle from the power source outlet
•
Do not operate the cradle with a damaged cord or plug replace them immediately
•
The cradle and HC700-G may become warm during operation, but not hot. If it becomes hot to the
touch, unplug the power supply of the cradle from the power outlet immediately and discontinue its
use
•
Use of a non-recommended attachment to the cradle may result in a risk of fire, electric shock, or
injury to persons.
•
Make sure all cords and cables are located so that it will not be stepped on, tripped over, or
subjected to damage or stress.
•

LED Status
Description
Both, the CHARGE and
COMM LEDs flash orange.
The cradle is in a software update process. The LEDs will stop
flashing once the software update process is completed.
Every 30 seconds, all green
COMM LEDs and all amber
CHARGE LEDs light steady
for 10 seconds and then return
to their pervious state.
The Primary image (operating system) of the cradle is damaged
and the cradle is working on the a back-up image. Contact
service for downloading new image to the cradle.
