General Information
The RF Distribution section of the CM7/8 radio consists of a transmit filter, receive
filter(s), and a waveguide branching network.

The transmit filter and receive filter(s) use a five-cavity waveguide filter design. Each
TXU and RXU connect to these waveguide filters through semi-rigid coaxial cables. Tx/
Rx band-pass filters are center-tuned to frequencies specific to each hop. So, each radio
hop has a waveguide branching network made-to-order for each radio configuration.

Table 3-2-B lists available frequency bands of the transmit and receive bandpass
waveguide filters.
