
13.1 • COOKING WITH THE CORE PROBE
Warning: if you select a program that
needs the core probe and display 9 signals
“PROBE ERR”; connect the core probe
to connection 27. If the first cycle is used
for preheating it is necessary to keep
the probe out of the oven with no load;
otherwise the program cannot start.
Insert the probe into the food (see “Hints on
using the core probe”), connect the probe to
connection 27. Set the oven temperature (as
directed in the chapters on settings), press
key 12 and use the SCROLLER to set the
required core temperature.
PRACTICAL EXAMPLE
Setting
Mode: Convection (key 2)
Oven temperature: 140 °C (key 10)
Core temperature: 78 °C (key 12)
What
happens
The temperature in the oven reaches 140 °C,
and stays at that level, the food gradually
increases in temperature. 5 degrees Celsius
before reaching the set core temperature,
display 6 begins blinking to enable to user to
arrange before the distribution.
On reaching the core temperature of 78 °C a
beep signals the end of cooking.
Warning: Wait for a few seconds after
inserting the core probe in connection 27 (the
time it takes the electronic card to identify
the probe), then start cooking with key 15
START/STOP.

OPERATIONS
Introductory
note
T h e c o r e p r o b e a l l o w s c o o k i n g t o b e
regulated by monitoring the temperature
at the core of the product. This device
overrides the time setting, and cooking
stops as soon as the temperature at the
core of the product reaches the selected
value.
The multipoint core probe can be handily
u s e d a s a p o r t a b l e t h e r m o m e t e r , b y
inserting the probe in connection 27 in
any time operation mode, keeping key
12 pressed for a few seconds, display 7
will show the probe temperature for a few
seconds. The ideal system to test the core
temperature of a product during the various
cycles of a time program.
