Wide-Angle Cap Frame
Operation Manual for the EMT 10T, 10/4, and 10/4T
Melco Embroidery Systems
Next, prepare the cap for sewing.
Open the back fastener.
7
Lower the sweatband completely.
8
If the cap has a braid, move it around
the cap to the inside and under the
brim as shown.
9
If the braid has a tail on the inside,
trim it short to keep it clear of
embroidery. Leave only about 1/4" of
braid from where it's sewn to the
cap.
10
Now place the cap on the cap frame.
The sweatband should be under the
locator, and the brim should be cen-
tered and pointing up.
11
Pull the side of the sweatband
toward the cap frame and down.
12
Flatten any "bunching" of the sweat-
band by folding it over and toward
the hoop.
13
To secure the sweatband, swing the
metal strap up and over the sweat-
band and the cap's brim.
14
Close the metal strap, making sure
one band of the strap fits in the
groove on the locator...and the other
band lies cleanly along the brim
edge.
