This function can be used to test the functioning of the speaker and warning
buzzers.

Touch the
[Settings]
symbol.

To test the function and volume of the speaker and warning buzzer, touch the
symbol
[Test speaker.]

The speaker in the control unit (CU) and the warning buzzers of the HCU 40
each generate an acoustic signal at the same time.
4.5.5 Testing Alarm Functions
You can test the alarm function as follows:

Close one of the stopcocks on the rear of the HCU 40 with circulation in
progress.

The touchscreen display alarms for a lack of or insufficient flow and
increasing pressure, and generates an acoustic alarm.

Open the stopcock again.
4.5.6 Cleaning/Emptying System Status
With the
[Cleaning/emptying]
function, you can start the system cleaning and tank
emptying, and the following maintenance data are displayed:

Date of last cleaning and time remaining until next cleaning. An interval of
30 days is set at the factory.
n
Date of last water change and time remaining until next water change. An
interval of 14 days is set at the factory.
Touch the
[Settings]
symbol.
