Using Enter

Pressing
Enter
to save your entry produces one of the following results:
■
The next screen in the procedure appears.
■
The screen does not change and you can enter another extension or line/
trunk. In most of these cases,
Delete
is also an option.
Enter
is used
either to assign the extension to a group or to assign a feature to the
extension.
Delete
is used to remove the extension from a group or to
remove the feature from the extension.
■
The procedure is complete and you return to a previous screen.

Specify the extension.

Assign or remove BIS/HFAI capability.
Select
Enter
or
Delete.
You may continue to assign or remove
BIS/HFAI capability to additional
extensions by repeating Steps 1 and 2.

Return to the System Programming menu.
Select
Exit
twice.
Using Next
1
When you are programming a feature that can apply to a sequence of extensions,
lines/trunks, or groups, the screen key
Next
appears on the console display. Next
(
on the PC) permits you to save your current entry and display the next
number in the sequence. You can continue to press Next until you finish
programming the entire sequence. When the last number in the sequence
displays on the screen, press
Enter
(
or
1
on the PC) to save the final
entry and move to the next step of the procedure. Procedures that allow the use of
BIS/HFAI Extensions:
