ASCII Service Protocol
General Info
The RLPC instruments can be programmed with an ASCII terminal.
The Lighthouse ASCII protocol is a simple user interface to change the
device’s parameters and can be used as a stand-alone or with the
MODBUS or MR protocol.
Configuring
with ASCIl
To use an ASCII terminal, such as HyperTerminal, use the
communication settings of 19200 baud, 8 Data bits, NO parity, 1 Stop
bit, NO flow control as shown in Figure 5-1.
