Replace Toner
message is cleared from the
operator panel display and
Ready
appears on the display.
If the
Replace Toner
message is not cleared from the display, rein-
stall the toner cartridge.
Installing the photoconductor kit
The
Replace PC Kit
message indicates that it is time to replace the items
in the photoconductor kit:
•
The photoconductor cartridge contains a photosensitive drum
that rotates, creating charges that attract toner to form electro-
static images.
•
The paper dust remover traps debris left behind as paper moves
past the transfer roller.
