The Ping page is used to send ICMP echo request packets to another node
on the network to determine if it can be reached.

ARAMETERS
These parameters are displayed on the Ping page:
◆
IP Address
– IPv4 or IPv6 address of the host.
An IPv4 address consists of 4 numbers, 0 to 255, separated by periods.
An IPv6 address consists of 8 colon-separated 16-bit hexadecimal
values. One double colon may be used in the address to indicate the
appropriate number of zeros required to fill the undefined fields.

Ping Length
– The payload size of the ICMP packet.
(Range: 2- 1452 bytes)
◆
Ping Count
– The number of ICMP packet to send. (Range: 1-60)
◆
Ping Interval
– The interval at which to send ICMP packets.
(Range: 0-30 seconds)

To ping another device on the network:
1.
Click Diagnostics, Ping or Ping6.
2.
Enter the IP address of the target device.
3.
Specify the packet size, count, and interval.
4.
Click Start.
