Use the MLD Snooping Port Group Filtering Configuration page to filter
specific multicast traffic. In certain switch applications, the administrator
may want to control the multicast services that are available to end users;
for example, an IP/TV service based on a specific subscription plan. The
MLD filtering feature fulfills this requirement by denying access to specified
multicast services on a switch port.

◆
Filtering Groups
– Multicast groups that are denied on a port. When
filter groups are defined, MLD listener reports received on a port are
checked against the these groups. If a requested multicast group is
denied, the MLD report is dropped.

Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP) is used to discover basic information
about neighboring devices on the local broadcast domain. LLDP is a Layer 2
protocol that uses periodic broadcasts to advertise information about the
sending device. Advertised information is represented in Type Length Value
(TLV) format according to the IEEE 802.1AB standard, and can include
details such as device identification, capabilities and configuration settings.
