5. Carefully lift the ion source vertically out of the system and place it on a clean
cloth.
Ion source is removed:
To reinstall the ion source carry out the steps above in the reverse order.
Make sure screws with the center hole are used for tightening the ion source.
Remove (blow with oil- and water-free air) loose particles from the recess
.
Make sure that no loose particles are into the recess of the HV- connection
area (red circles).
