Operating instructions

4.1

Introduction

The ion cutting process is performed using argon. Argon ions that have been ionized
and accelerated by high voltage collide with the sample and displace surface atoms.

4.2

Main components of the Leica EM TIC 3X Triple Ion Beam Cutter

The Leica EM TIC 3X Triple Ion Beam Cutter system includes the following main
