5.3.8 Loading Paper in Post Inserter of Folding Unit FD-503

When loading paper to the upper or lower tray of the post inserter, be sure to make the setting for paper
to be used in [Tray Setting] from the Machine Screen. The setting cannot be made in [Paper Presetting]
from the Copy Screen.

Load paper in the upper/lower tray of the post inserter.

Align the side guides to the paper.
NOTICE
Do not load more than 500 sheets (21 lb Bond) for each of the upper tray and lower tray. Also, do not
load above the limit line indicated on the side guides.
5.3.9 Loading Paper in Post Inserter PI-502
If you want to change the paper sizes to be detected in the upper tray or lower tray of the post inserter, make
the size setting in [Tray Setting] from the Machine Screen.

Load paper in the upper tray / lower tray of the post inserter .

Align the side guides to the paper.
NOTICE
Do not load more than 200 sheets (22 lb Bond) or 1.18 inches in height for each of the upper tray and
lower tray .
