GND
(Ground Stabilized mode): The radar picture is stabilized with respect to the
ground with the signals supplied from a bearing sensor and a speed sensor (either a
water speed sensor or a ground speed sensor). When a water speed sensor is used,
a tidal effect causes the deviation in picture stabilization. In such a case, the Set and
Drift correction must be made by manual means or NMEA signal. Refer to Para
6.4.1.3 and 6.4.1.4 for details.
