Placing reference cursors
You can place one or two reference cursors as overlays on the sonar view. When you
place two cursors, an additional overlay will appear with information about the cursors.
Context
The Reference Cursor buttons are used to mark points of interest and to
determine the range and bearing of these points (relative to the Sonar Head).
These buttons are located on the tool bar.
Procedure

Click the
Reference Cursor 1
button.

Move the mouse to where you want to place the cursor.
Tip
To make fine adjustments to the cursor position, drop a reference cursor into a
Zoom window.

Click the left mouse button to place the cursor as an overlay in the sonar view.
The range and bearing of the cursor’s position — relative to the Sonar Head — is
shown in the bottom-left corner of the view.

button.

Move the mouse to where you want to place the cursor.

Click the left mouse button to place the cursor as an overlay in the sonar view.
The range and bearing of the cursor’s position — relative to the Sonar Head — is
shown in the bottom-left corner of the view. “Delta” shows the range and bearing
from cursor 1 to cursor 2.
Tip
