Lighting the Backlight (Backlight)
The backlight is equipped on the back side of the LCD on the transceiver. By lighting the backlight, the LCD can be viewed
in dark places or at night.
Pressing the
Backlight
key toggles the backlight between On and Off.
If
Auto Backlight
is enabled, the backlight lights when operating any key of the transceiver, or when receiving a call. The
conditions for lighting the backlight by the Auto Backlight function can be configured by using KPG-D1/ D1N.

switch is pressed.
