3.9 L2100 Rotation Position Sensor Board

L2100 - Location

Inside the rotating unit under the head support. To ac-

cess, remove the head holder assembly and then the

lower protection assembly (see section 7.1).

L2100 - Field replaceable parts

None.

L2100 - Description

L2100 is used to detect the position of the rotating unit.

L2100 has two optical switches that generate sensor

signals ROTSW1 and ROTSW2 according to which

position is activated.

L2100 includes a transmitter LED, and a receiver, or

base. The sensor signals remain on as long as the base

receives light from the LED. When the light to the base

is cut off by the positioning rail, the sensor signal is

switched off.
