DANGER
Risk of injury due to uncontrolled operating circumstances.
–
Do not make any changes to the fixed safety and control set-
ups.
–
Use only the nozzles that have been listed in the "Accesso-
ries" chapter or have been released by the manufacturer for
use.
Open fuel supply.
Open the water supply.
Turn the emergency-stop switch to "ON" position.
Release emergency-stop button by pulling it.
Use the end-switch in the piping system provided at the site to
bring the "Hot water" and "Steam stage" taps into the desired po-
sition for the following operating types:
– Operating with hot water
– spray jet operation (with upgrade kit spray jet only)
– Steam operation (with upgrade kit for steam stage only)
DANGER
Danger of scalding by hot water!
Turn the selection switch of the remote control to "Tempera-
ture hot". The thermostat "hot water“ will be activated.
Set the desired water temperature on the thermostat. Maxi-
mum temperature is 95 °C.
Open tap "hot water".
Close tap "steam stage“
Start high pressure unit. The burner gets automatically start-
ed after 10 seconds when the flowing water quantity is large
enough.
DANGER
Danger of scalding by hot water!
DANGER
Follow the safety instructions of the manufacturer of the high
pressure cleaning unit!
DANGER
The water in the once-through boiler may contain germs after
longer interruptions of operation lasting several days. Hence,
spray the stale water into the drain for a few seconds first when
using it in the food sector.
Turn the selection switch of the remote control to "Tempera-
ture hot". The thermostat "hot water“ will be activated.
Close tap "hot water“.
Close tap "steam stage“
Start high pressure unit. The burner gets automatically start-
ed after 10 seconds when the flowing water quantity is large
enough.
Due to the reduction in the quantity of water, the burner remains
limited to the smallest capacity (physical safeguard for t
max
=
100 °C). The heating-up phase may therefore take a little longer.
ATTENTION
While making use of the spray jet operations, please ensure that
the spray jet is used for a longer period of time. Otherwise the
burner switches in short intervals.
DANGER
Danger of scalding by hot steam!
Set the selection switch of the remote control to steam oper-
ations. The thermostat "steam stage“ will be activated.
ATTENTION
Risk of damage to the safety valve "steam stage“. You must first
release the water pressure by opening the hand-spray gun be-
fore switching the taps to steam stage.
Close tap "hot water“.
Open stop-valve "steam stage“. This will open the half-load
solenoid valve.
Start high pressure unit. The burner gets automatically start-
ed after 10 seconds when the flowing water quantity is ok.
Note:
The permissible operating pressure is 2 MPa.
ATTENTION
Overheating can cause damage to the plant. Remember to first
switch off the burner after hot water/ steam operations and after
adequate cooling down (below 80 °C) switch off the pump and
the stop-valves.
In automatic plants, this situation is taken care of when the pump
gets switched off after a certain time delay.
Turn the selection switch of the remote control to "Tempera-
ture cold". The thermostat "hot water“ will be deactivated.
Allow the plant to cold run (see above).
Switch off the high pressure unit.
Shut off water supply.
Close fuel supply.
Drain off water pressure.
In hand spray operations, press the hand-spray gun until the
plant is pressure-less.
Protect the water-carrying parts of the plant against frost because
they can get totally damaged.
– Install the plant in a frost-protected room.
or
– Rinse the plant with an anti-frost solution.
The latter is recommended even if the plant is to remain idle for a
longer period of time (the anti-frost agent also has an anti-corro-
sion effect).
Note:
Observe handling instructions of the anti-freeze agent
manufacturer.
Mix the anti-frost agent with water according to details provid-
ed by the manufacturer.
Mix the anti-frost solution in the swimmer tank of the high
pressure pump or in some other container.
Switch on the high pressure pump and pump the anti-frost so-
lution through the unit until it comes out at the nozzle.
Switch off the high pressure pump.
