12.2.5 Service case: irregular running
behaviour
Fault Cause Remedy
Runs too fast/too slowly Parameters not set correctly Check parameters and re-enter them.
Motor faulty Detach motor cable and push on again by hand.
Check whether motor is sluggish.
Shaft encoder faulty Check shaft encoder LED on ETS 21. LEDs ash if the
door elements are pulled across the swing area.
Shock absorber faulty Replace shock absorber.
12.2.6 Service case - unit does not move to
home position
Fault Cause Remedy
Control unit does not
recognise any home
position; unit only mo-
ves into home position
inexactly. Shaft encoder faulty Replace shaft encoder.
Shaft encoder incorrectly
installed Replace shaft encoder. Zero index at a 45° angle to the
home position within the main swing area.
Reprogramme door position..
12.2.7 Service case - door leaf moves in the
wrong direction
Fault Cause Remedy
Door leaf continuously
presses against the
stopper. Motor incorrectly polarised Change motor phases.
Incorrect position parameters Report.
Shaft encoder faulty Check shaft encoder and replace if necessary.
12.2.8 Service case - permanent alarm
Fault Cause Remedy
Permanent alarm CAN-Bus connection
Fault with master-slave
Check cabling.
Sensor faulty Test sensor and replace if necessary.
