11 Maintenance
The Argus HSG may only be maintained by
specialist personnel.
see Section 2.4 Quali cation of specialist
personnel
Regular maintenance maintains operating
safety and long-term reliability, thereby aiding
value retention.
11.1 General
In addition to the routine function checks, mainte-
nance also includes cleaning the unit.
Compliance with the maintenance guidelines
ensures that the unit functions perfectly and pro-
tects against malfunctions and premature wear.
All bearings are greased so that this lasts for
their usage life and do not therefore need to be
re-greased.
11.1.1 Maintenance intervals
Maintenance should be carried out at least once a
year, or at the latest after 2.5 million passages.
11.1.2 Tools and auxiliaries
The tools for installation and for maintenance
and service are largely identical.
