1.1.3 Important information
DANGER
Risk of injury with insuf cient protective
equipment
The risk of injury (e.g. being trapped or hit )
largely depends on two factors:
User group
(e.g. age, health, brie ng on use of the
system)
Protective equipment/sensor technology
(contact/non-contact)
Before the order is placed, a risk assess-
ment must be drawn up for the project and
the necessary protective equipment must
be determined from this.

In the event of a change in use, a new
risk assessment must be carried out.

Annual expert inspection
For systems that are subject to BGR 232 and
DIN 18650, an annual expert inspection must
be carried out. However, this only relates to
the safety of use for passers-by and is docu-
mented in an inspection book.
Follow the national regulations.
We recommend technical maintenance
at least once a year, with the specialist
inspection being carried out as part of this
maintenance.
Action must be taken on the results of this
expert inspection.
The inspection book must be kept by the
operator.
