4 Safety
features
Any modi cations with a negative impact on
safety, however slight, are unacceptable.
Unauthorised modi cations made to the unit
shall exclude any liability of the manufacturer.
4.1 Protective/safety
sensors
Protective sensors S2 and S3
Safety sensors S1 and S4
The sensors are set and tested in the factory.
The operator does not need to implement any
settings.
Sensors in V-shaped and vertical arrangement
Thanks to the arrangement of the sensors, children
smaller than 950 mm can be detected, as can trol-
leys and pieces of luggage.

4.2 Safe separation distance
between closed door leaves
There is no risk of ngers being squashed when the
doors close, as the separation distance between the
door leaves is 50 mm.
4.3 Protection
against fingers
becoming trapped
Door rim at upper edge of housing, with nger
protection curtain
Principle
Finger protection curtain prevents people reaching
into the gap at the door rim.
