TXTalk
—the column shows the total (also called “cumulative”) crosstalk in all specified
channels adjacent to the reference channel. The channels to include are all the ITU channels
included in a specified wavelength range.

A set of checkboxes and buttons, which enable the user to control the analysis, are below the
table of computed parameters.
Auto Analysis Checkbox
—when checked, the table is updated every time a new scan is
acquired.
Log to File Checkbox
—when checked, the table is written to a specified file every time the
table is updated. The name of this file is shown in the adjacent text box and can be changed
using the standard Browse button.
Select Analysis Button
—used to select the type of analysis. When this button is pressed, a
dialog box is displayed (Figure 72).
Analysis Definition File
Analysis is performed from a predefined analysis definition file (ADF) or by creating a new file.
