to begin the Calibration without Reference Paper.
21. Confirm the Test progress by checking the

Progress bar (Figure 6-44 a , Figure 6-45 a ).
22. Once the Calibration without Reference Paper
Calibration procedure is complete, the Motor
Speed Test will automatically begin. Confirm the
Test progress by checking the Progress Bar

(Figure 6-46 a ).
23. Once the Motor Speed Test is complete, the

Dialogue Message will appear (Figure 6-47).
Insert the White Reference Paper to the Transport
Section and click on the “
Yes
” Button to
begin the White Reference Paper Calibration

confirmation (Figure 6-47 a ).
24. When the White Reference Paper Calibration
confirmation is complete, the Dialog Message
will appear (Figure 6-48). Remove the White

Reference Paper from the Transport Section and
click on the “
Yes
” Button to end the White
Reference Paper Calibration (Figure 6-48 a )
25. When the “Calibration completed.” Dialog

Message appears (Figure 6-49), click on the
“
Yes
” Button (Figure 6-49 a ) to begin
writing the calibration results into the VEGA
Unit’s EEPROM.
26. The Front Panel LED will flash at a Yellow Color
rate. Confirm the EEPROM data clearing process
by checking the Progress Bar (Figure 6-50
a ).
27. Once the EEPROM data clearing process is

complete, the calibration result data will be

written into the EEPROM. Confirm the calibra-
tion result data writing process by checking the
Progress Bar (Figure 6-51
a ).
28. When the calibration result data is completely
written into EEPROM, the Screen to save the data
onto the PC will appear (Figure 6-52). Click on
the “
Save
” Button (Figure 6-52 a ) to retain
the data results (Figure 6-52 b ), or click on the
“
Cancel
” Button (Figure 6-52 c ) to end the
Calibration Procedure without saving the data.
