14. Carefully press-in, and individually pull upward
on the six (6) Plastic Retaining Tabs one at a time
on the Upper Transport Unit (Figure 4-9

through a

), and carefully remove the Upper
Transport Unit up and off the Lower Transport
Unit (Figure 4-9
b ).
15. Remove the four (4) Board Mounting Screws
(Figure 4-10 a

through a

) retaining the Main
CPU Circuit Board in place (Figure 4-10 b ). Care-
fully lift the Main CPU Board up, and unplug the
single Circuit Board Connector from the Board
(Figure 4-10
c ); then lift the CPU Board up and
off the Upper Transport Unit (Figure 4-10 d ).
Upper Sensor Circuit Board
Removal
To remove the VEGA Unit’s Upper Sensor Board,
proceed as follows:
1. Remove the two (2) Mounting Screws (Figure 4-
11 a

& a
2
) securing the Upper Sensor Board in
place (Figure 4-11 b ), and unplug the single Cir-
cuit Board Connector (Figure 4-11 c ) located on
the Upper Sensor Board.
2. Left the Sensor Board up and off the Upper
Transport Unit (Figure 4-11 d ).
