Step 3.
Remove the retention screw on the side of PSU canister
and push the release tab forward to disengage the
cooling module.
Step 4.
Remove the cooling fan module by the following
steps:
Step 4-1. Use your thumb and middle finger to seize the
cooling fan module, your thumb by the upper edge
of the fan guard and your middle finger at the
hemispheric indent.
Step 4-2. Use one hand to push the release tab forward and
another to remove the fan assembly with a
precisely vertical motion.
Step 5.
Install the replacement module
by aligning it with the
module bay on the PSU module and gently lowering it
into the bay with a precisely vertical motion. The side
with screw holes should be facing up.
Step 6.
Once the fan is fully inserted, push the release tab
backward to its original position so that the cooling
module’s connector can correctly mate with the
connector in the module bay. Fasten the retention screw
next to the release tab.
Step 7.
Secure the module
by fastening the six (6) screws
previously removed from the top.
Step 8.
Reinstall the PSU module into chassis.

Step 1.
Squeeze the retention latches towards the center

Gently remove the cooling module
by pulling the
handle at the bottom.
