Power Connections
Once all of the disk drives have been properly installed and the I/O ports or
management interfaces have been connected, the system can be powered on.
Checklist
BEFORE
powering on the system, please check the following:
DRAM module:
If you purchased a DRAM module as an upgrade,
make sure the DRAM module has been correctly installed into the
controller (refer to
CBM:
Make sure the CBM has been properly installed (
Cache Backup Module (CBM) for RAID Models
).
Hard drives:
Make sure hard drive brackets have been correctly
installed onto hard drives and hard drives have been properly installed
into the drawers (refer to
