8.1 GENERAL PROBLEMS
INCONVENIENTS CAUSE REMEDY
Open cases. Close the cases
The feeding drum is out of
position.
Bring the feeding drum to position
and reassemble coupling screws
between the bell of the lathe and
the bell of the bar feeder.
Air missing. Check the air system.
Emergency devices activated. Disable the emergency devices.
BAR FEEDER DOES NOT START
Motors thermal switches
blown.
Reset the overload relay by means
of the relevant push-buttons.
Levers are in a loading phase.
Clamp arm on the guides.
Clamps are closed.
THE BAR FEEDER DOES NOT
WORK IN THE AUTOMATIC
MODE
Guides are open.
Read for any possible defects on the
DISPLAY and provide the required
conditions for the bar feeder to be
started automatically.
