ERR_NONFATAL messages are enabled for transmission if either of the following bits is set:
SERR_EN in
“PCI Control and Status Register”
ERR_COR messages are enabled for transmission if COR_ERR_EN is set in
FTL_ERR_DTD, NFTL_ERR_DTD, and COR_ERR_DTD bits in
“PCIe Device Control and Status
are set for the corresponding errors on the PCIe Interface, regardless of the error reporting
enable bits.
The PEB383 also supports Advisory Non-Fatal error messages in the case where a TLP Error detected
is a Advisory Non-Fatal Error and the Advisory Non-Fatal Error mask bit, ANFE, in the
Correctable Error Mask Register”
is not masked then a Correctable error message is generated instead
of a Non-Fatal error message.
