Preparing your PC companion

There are a few steps you must perform to prepare your PC 
companion for a modem HotSync operation. 

To prepare your PC companion for a modem HotSync operation:

1. Tap the Applications icon 

. 

2. Tap the HotSync icon 

. 

3. Tap Modem.

4. Tap the pick list below the icon and select a modem configuration.

Note:

If you need to create a configuration, tap the Menu icon 
and then select Options and Connection Setup. See 
“Connection preferences” in Chapter 8 for more 
information. 

5. Tap the Enter phone # field.
