2.8.3 Refilling the Ribbon
Use part number 09F4041.
Note
If you touch the ribbon, your hand might be stained with ink. Wear gloves
to keep your hands clean.
The ribbon can be replaced in the same ribbon cassette up to 10 times. If
the same ribbon cassette is used repeatedly, ribbon jams or printing prob-
lems (thin printing) might result. See the check label for the number of
ribbon replacements.

Remove the ribbon cassette. Refer to 2.8.1, “Removing the Ribbon
Cassette” on page 2-33.

Open the ribbon cassette cover in the direction of the arrow.

Pull the ribbon release lever toward you to open the ribbon rollers.
