Replacing the Ribbon

2.8.2 Setting and Mounting the Ribbon Cassette

Set the ribbon cassette itself before mounting it on the IBM 5400-006 printer. If you
have already set the ribbon, go to “Mounting the Ribbon Cassette” on page 2-37.

Setting the Ribbon Cassette

Open the left and right cassette arms in the direction of the arrows. Make
sure the ribbon passes through the cassette arm guides.

Open the ribbon cassette cover and remove the spacer in the direction of the
arrow.
