2.12.2 Initialization Procedure Example
Initialization procedures are described below.
The following is an example of how to change the print mode from NLQ to DP.
Note: For an explanation of the switches used for initialization and their functions,
see 2.12.1, “Switches used for Initialization and Their Functions” on page 2-65.

Press Set Up Mode again. Initialization begins.
On the LCD, the upper row indicates the initial set item and the lower row
indicates the initial value.
To change the initial set item, press Set Up Mode. If you press Line
Feed, the preceding initial set item is displayed on the LCD.
To change the initial value, press Step Feed Up or Step Feed Down.

Press Set Up Mode to select the item you want to change.
Each time you press Set Up Mode, the initial item displayed on the upper
row on the LCD changes. To change the print mode, press Set Up Mode
until “PRINT MODE” is displayed in the LCD.
An initial value is already set. In this example, the value is NLQ print mode.
The following message is displayed on the LCD:
