The power outlet must meet local standard specifications.

Connecting to an AS/400

The IBM 5400-006 printer is connected to a host system or a remote control
system by a twinax cable. To order the cable (with a connector), specify the fol-
lowing part number:

Note:  When ordering this cable, calculate the required length according to the fol-

lowing:

Total Length=1.6m+ (distance from the printer to the Host System).

1.6 m is the minimum length required for cleaning (depending on condi-
tions).
