Follow-up Procedure

Use the multimeter to check each SUD and ensure that the ground resistance of each SUD is
smaller than 1 ohm.

5.22 Connecting Power Cables

The N8500 only supports AC power. You only need to connect AC power cables before
powering on the N8500.

Prerequisites

The N8500 has been disconnected from all external power sources.

The following peak power required by each component can be achieved:

Clustered NAS engine enclosure: 830 W

SUC: 380 W

SUD: 480 W

Fibre Channel switch: 90 W

Ethernet switch: 63 W
