Step 8.
Use the
arp
command to add an ARP entry for the IP address using the GSP MAC address.

For HP-UX systems, the format of the MAC address is 00:30:6e:05:0a:ea
•
For MS DOS systems, the format of the MAC address is 00-30-6e-05-0a-ea
Step 9.
Use the
ping
command to assign the I.P address for the GSP.
Step 10.
The revision B GSP is now accessible via LAN. Access the GSP and configure remaining network
parameters using the LAN Configuration (lc) command:
GSP> lc
The lc command will start a series of prompts. Respond to each prompt with the appropriate information.
