Server Unpacking and Installation

Install Stand-Alone Server in a Cabinet

16

Step 9.

Fully extend the slide so that it is locked in the fully open position.

Step 10.

Use an M5 x 30 screw with a cress cup washer to attach the front of the slide to the vertical
mounting post. Insert the screw through the slide, through the center hole of the aluminum spacer,
through the vertical mounting post, and tighten into the sheet metal nut located at that position.

Step 11.

Use a procedure similar to steps 7 through 10 to install the right hand slide/bracket assembly
(marked 337079-1R) and then proceed to step 12.
