DISABLE CALIBRATN target

Selection of the

ENABLE CALIBRATN

target sets the calibration bit in the IOP and results in the

display that is shown in the following figure. The

DISABLE CALIBRATN

target indicates that

calibration is in progress, and that the calibration bit in the IOP can be reset by the operator selecting the

DISABLE CALIBRATN

target.

The calibration bit can also be reset at the IOP when calibration is complete. Either action will return the
IOP to the state that is shown in Figure 155.

LLAI IOP Detail Status Display

IOP calibration

The LLAI IOP Detail Status display can be used for calibration of the IOP’s A/D converters. Targets are
provided to enable/disable the calibration procedure. The calibration procedures are found in the “IOP
Calibration Procedures” section.

LLAI IOP calibration

There are two types of calibrations possible for the LLAI IOP, A/D Converter calibration and Reference
Junction calibration. Figure 157, Figure 158 and Figure 159 show the calibration targets available for
calibration of the LLAI IOP.

ENABLE CALIBRATN and ENABLE RJ CALIBR Targets

The following figure shows the Low Level Analog Input IOP Detail Status display with the ENABLE
CALIBRATN and ENABLE RJ CALIBR targets.
