Stripe Hog Systems
The following is a description of the console
panel switch functions:
POWER
• Energizes the circuits for all other rocker switches
on the console switch panel, the digital gauges,
strobe and work lights, and the cooling fan for
the hydraulic system oil cooler. A green LED light
in the switch indicates that the power switch is
ON and panel is energized.
NOTICE:
THE TRUCK ENGINE MUST BE RUNNING WITH THE PTO SWITCH
ON TO ACTIvATE THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM. THE CONSOLE
POWER SWITCH MUST BE ON TO PROvIDE ELECTRICAL
POWER TO ALL OTHER WATER BLASTING SYSTEM SWITCHES
IN THE CONSOLE. THE WORK LIGHT AND STROBE LIGHT ARE
ACTIvATED WHEN THE POWER SWITCH IS ON.
HEAD ROTATION ON/OFF
Activates the solenoid valve that supplies pressur-
ized hydraulic fluid to power the thru-shaft motor
that rotates the spray bar. A green LED light in the
switch indicates that the thru-shaft is engaged.
Head rotation speed is controlled by the HEAD
ROTATION speed dial.
SEPARATOR ON/OFF
Activates the solenoid valve that supplies pressur-
ized hydraulic fluid to power the hydraulic motor
that rotates the drum and wiper blades on the
vacuum separator. A green LED light in the switch
indicates that the separator drum is rotating.
CHARGE PUMP
Activates the solenoid valve that supplies pres-
surized hydraulic fluid to power the charge water
pump. A green LED light in the switch indicates the
charge pump is activated.
DIRTY WATER PUMP
Activates the automatic switch that controls the
diaphragm transfer pump that pumps wastewater
from the debris cage sump to the wastewater blad-
der. A green LED light in the switch indicates the
transfer pump circuit is activated.
FLOAT SWITCH
Activates and deactivates the float mode feature
that enables the Hog Head to float freely over un -
even road surfaces. A green LED light in the switch
indicates that Float Mode is engaged.
ARM UP/DOWN
A momentary, three position switch that activate
the hydraulic system that raises and lowers Hog
Arm. The center position is OFF. Press and hold the
top of the switch to raise the arm, press and hold
the bottom of the switch to lower the arm. Release
the switch to stop the Hog Arm.
VACUUM ON/OFF
Activates the solenoid valve that supplies pres-
surized hydraulic fluid to the hydraulic motor that
powers the vacuum blower. A green LED light in
the switch indicates the blower is activated.
WHEEL UP/DOWN
A momentary, three position switch that activates
the hydraulic actuator that raises and lowers the
hydrostatic drive wheel on the rear of the truck.
The center position is OFF. Press and hold the top
