19. Unplug and store the remote control switch
and move the toggle switch to the TANK po-
sition.
20. Remove the hydrostatic wheel safety pin.
21. Set the NORMAL/DISCHARGE toggle switch
to NORMAL.
22. Lower the hydrostatic drive wheel to the full
down position.
The truck and water blasting system are now
configured in work mode and ready for water
blasting operations.
Auxiliary engine startup and engaging the
water blasting system:
1. Be sure the truck transmission is in NEUTRAL
position, the parking brake is set and the PTO
is engaged.
2. Make sure all speed dials are set to 0 and the
POWER switch is ON.
3. Raise Truck Engine RPM to 2000 RPM.
4. Turn the CHARGE PUMP switch ON to activate
the charge pump and validate pressure. 35–70
psi (2.4-4.8 BAR).
5. Start the auxiliary engine.
CAUTION
THE UHP PUMP IS DIRECTLY DRIvEN BY THE AUXILIARY
ENGINE AND WILL BE DAMAGED IF THE AUXILIARY ENGINE IS
STARTED WITHOUT THE CHARGE PUMP ENGAGED. ALWAYS
MAKE SURE THE TRUCK ENGINE IS SET TO OPERATING RPM,
THE CHARGE PUMP SWITCH IS ON AND CHARGE WATER
PRESSURE IS WITHIN SPECIFICATIONS BEFORE STARTING
THE AUXILIARY ENGINE.
6. Set the THROTTLE MANUAL/AUTOMATIC toggle
switch to MANUAL (for most operations) and
raise auxiliary engine RPM to achieve desired
pressure, typically 40,000 psi (2758 BAR) @
2350 RPM.
NOTICE:
REFER TO SECTION 3.5 AUXILIARY ENGINE THROTTLE
CONTROL MODES FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THE
AUXILIARY ENGINE CONTROLLER AND CHOOSING THE
THROTTLE MODE.
7. Verify all speed dials are set to 0, then Lower
drive wheel.
8. Turn the VACUUM ON/OFF switch ON to activate
the vacuum blower.
