6.4
Changing the mains fuse
Refer to
Figure 6-8
.
•
Switch off the unit.
•
Unplug the power cable from the power outlet.
•
Disconnect the power cable from the machine
socket (

).
•
Pull out the fuse holder (
2
).
•
Replace the damaged fuse with another fuse having
an identical rating (
3
).
•
Return the unit to its original functioning status, by
following the steps above in reverse order.

Cleaning the lifter

To clean the wheel lifter, do not use liquids.
DO NOT SPILL LIQUID ON THE LIFTER.
•
Clean the lifter with a dry cloth and compressed air.
•
Check for too much play in the connecting parts.
DO NOT LUBRICATE THE HORIZONTAL
SLIDE RAILS (
1, Fig. 6-9
).
•
Wipe with a cloth and lubricate the trapezoidal
thread screw. Use only specifi c grease; RENOLIT
GHT2 (P/N: 8-03329A).
•
Lubricate the joints with a small quantity of grease
for mechanical applications. We recommend using
spray grease; not oil.
•
If a fault occurs, stop using the equipment and call
the
Snap-on
technical support team.
