Sandbox
: Settings for the so-called sandbox
Configure and use the sandbox on your control. For
safety and security reasons, always open the browser in
the sandbox.
Network settings specific to the device
Press the
DEFINE NETWORK CONNECTN.
soft key to enter
the network settings for a specific device. You can define any
number of network settings, but you can manage only seven at
one time
Setting
Meaning
Network drive
List of all connected network drives. The
control shows the respective status of the
network connections in the columns:
Mount
: Network drive connected / not
connected
Auto
: Network drive is to be connected
automatically/manually
Type
: Type of network connection. cifs
and nfs are possible
Drive
: Designation of the drive on the
control
ID
: Internal ID that identifies if a mount
point has been used for more than one
connection
Server
: Name of the server
Share
: Name of the directory on the
server that the control is to access
User
: User name with which the user
logs on to the network
Password
: Network password
protected or not
Query password?
: Query / do not
query password during connection
Options
: Display additional connection
options
To manage the network drives, use the
screen buttons.
To add network drives, use the
Add
button: The control then starts the connec-
tion wizard, which guides you by dialog
through the required definitions
Status log
Display of status information and error
messages.
Press the Clear button to delete the
contents of the Status Log window.
