Parameter
unit-id
: Unit ID of a switch, the value can only be 1.
Description
Use the
reboot
command to restart a specified Ethernet switch.
Note:
Before rebooting, the system checks whether there is any configuration change. If yes,
it prompts whether or not to proceed. This prevents the system from losing the
configurations in case of shutting down the system without saving the configurations.
Example
# Directly restart this switch without saving the current configuration.
<Sysname> reboot
Start to check configuration with next startup configuration file,
please wait......
This command will reboot the device. Current configuration may be lost in next
startup if you continue. Continue? [Y/N] y
