Removal procedure of 4
-way valve
Note: Before removing the 4-way valve, make sure no refrigerant is inside the pipeline and power has
been disconnected.

Disassemble
the 4-way valve.
Use a screwdriver to unscrew
accessories of the 4-way valve;
Remove the accessories;
●Heat the connection pipes of the
4-way valve by acetylene welding
and then remove the pipes;
● Record the direction of the valve
and position of each pipe joint.
Note: Avoid nearby parts from
being burnt during welding.

Remove the
4-way valve.
●Remove the 4
-way valve from
the pipeline.
5. Install a new
4-way valve.
●Put the valve in proper position;
●Weld the valve with the pipeline;
●Before welding, cover the valve
with wet cloth to avoid its internal
slide from being burnt and prevent
water from flowing in the pipeline;
●
During welding, charge nitrogen
into the pipes. The pressure
should be controlled with
0.5±0.1kgf/cm
2
(relative
pressure).
6. Fix and wire
the electric box.
●Put the electric box back to the
original position and screw it.
●Connect wires same as the
original.
