Setting marker
Changing the playlist type
You can select the playlist type (normal or timeline format). The playlist
type can be changed only in the workstation mode.
Setting marker
You can set markers with comments on a content being played back or a
clip being recorded.
If markers are set, you can quickly cue up to a desired timecode position.
NOTE
•
To record the marker information that are added after
recording has stopped to the file with T2, perform one of the
following operations.

Convert or export to Grass Valley HQ AVI
-
Convert to MXF (XDCAM format)
•
If an MXF (XDCAM format) file with markers has been
exported to the XDCAM drive (SONY PDW-U1, PDW-U2), the
marker information will not be recorded in the metadata.
TIP
•
T2 marker information will be recorded in the following cases.
You can use the marker information on EDIUS.

When markers are added on a clip that is being recorded
with T2 (including when recording to an external folder or
time-shift editing with EDIUS using direct access folder is
being performed)

When a clip with markers is converted or exported to Grass
Valley HQ AVI
-
When a clip with markers is converted to MXF (XDCAM
format)
-
When a playlist including a clip event with markers is
converted to Grass Valley HQ AVI or MXF (XDCAM format)
•
If a file that contains the following settings in the metadata
of XDCAM or P2 source is imported, it will be imported as
markers for T2.

Essence marks in the metadata of XAVC or XAVC S (T2 Elite
2/Pro 2/Express 2 only)

Essence marks in the metadata of XDCAM or XDCAM EX
-
Memo list in the metadata of P2
Note that the markers set with T2 cannot be reflected in the
original media file.

In the workstation mode, you can assign keyboard shortcuts to
marker operations or assign commands to mouse operations.
