Connect the communication cable between the
computer serial port and the controller RS232
connector. See Fig. 13.6.
CA UTION
Do not connect the cable to the CAN connector, next
to the RS232 connector, or the utilities software will
not operate correctly.

The default setting for computer communications
port is 1. If your computer has 2 serial ports and
you use the second port, you need to change the
Communication Parameters setting the first time
you use the software.
